OK, so it's really not THAT momentous... but exciting (running) opportunities are coming.
On Sunday April 13, Dennis Wayne Welch/ DWEP / SouthSide/ Tidewater Striders Running Club runners will be "crossing the moat" to run with T.E.A.M. Williamsburg and friends on the Peninsula (or possibly in Williamsburg, if we get really crazy).
THEN, on Sunday April 27, "North" will be heading South (possibly to First Landing Park) to run with our new-found friends.
It'll be a wonderful "cross-pollination" of personalities, ideas, running talent, new running routes, and just plain FUN! By merging the NorthSide and SouthSide, we should have PLENTY of company for EVERY pace, distance, etc. Details, places, times, etc. TBA. All good ideas welcome. Heck, we could even bring snacks/beverages for afterwards, or whatever.
Keep your eyes peeled... and keep training. Spring is coming!
