Mostly flat to slightly rolling, with several small hills. Scenic out-and-back 5K course along Colonial Heritage Boulevard and through the Colonial Heritage residential community. The start and finish lines are located in front of the Athletic Club, on Arthur Hills Drive , along with the packet pickup, late registration, awards ceremony and refreshments.

$30 late and race day for 5K run or 5K walk.

Directions:
From Richmond , VA – Travel I-64 East to Route 607 (Exit #231A), and turn right onto Route 607.
Continue on Route 607 to Route 60 (second traffic light) and turn left.
After approximately two miles, the entrance to Colonial Heritage Club will be on the right.
From Virginia Beach/Norfolk/Newport News – Travel I-64 West to Route 199 (exit #234A) toward Lightfoot.
Travel on Route 199 for approximately a quarter of a mile to Route 60 Lightfoot (third exit off of Route 199).
Turn left onto Richmond Road (Route 60 West).
After approximately one mile, the Colonial Heritage Club entrance will be on the left.

Time Schedule:
7:30 a.m. – Race day registration and packet pickup begins
8:30 a.m. – One mile fun run/walk start
9:00 a.m. – 5K run/5K walk start
10:15 a.m. – Awards ceremony, door prizes, and post-race refreshments
Location:
Colonial Heritage Active Adult Community, 6500 Arthur Hills Drive , Williamsburg , VA 23188
Course:
Mostly flat to slightly rolling, with several small hills. Scenic out-and-back 5K course along Colonial Heritage Boulevard and through the Colonial Heritage residential community. The start and finish lines are located in front of the Athletic Club, on Arthur Hills Drive , along with the packet pickup, late registration, awards ceremony and refreshments.
Registration:
$30 late and race day for 5K run or 5K walk.
$15 for one mile fun run/walk (T-shirt included)

Workouts for Sept. 10 - 14
Tuesday, September 10 - Williamsburg - Warhill Trail Distance Run/Tempo Run Workout, 4:00 p.m., meet at parking lot in front of WISC (Williamsburg Indoor Sports Complex), nearest soccer fields, of the Warhill Sports Complex (off Longhill Road , just past Lafayette High School ). Course is totally soft-surface of hard-packed gravel and dirt Warhill Nature Trail, shaded scenic route. Distance options of 4 to 9 miles. Wednesday, September 11, Williamsburg - Colonial Road Runners weekly interval workout, 5:30 p.m., Walsingham Academy track. Speed workout of up to 4 miles worth of repeats, each repeat starting and finishing on the Walsingham track. Surface is mostly grass athletic fields, or crushed gravel running path, before finishing on track. Post-workout cooldown run of up to 2 miles. Saturday, September 14, Williamsburg - Enterprisers distance run, 6:00 a.m., Merchants Square of Colonial Williamsburg. Meet in parking lot between Baskin-Robbins ice cream shop and Trellis Restaurant.
