A Message from United Athletics Williamsburg

Hello Colonial Road Runners! I am posting on behalf on United Athletics Williamsburg. If you were at the Toano Icy 8k this year, you may have seen our two teams that participated in the race. Our mission is to assist people with disabilities to participate in racing events. We are always looking for volunteers to assist our assisted athletes.

Here is a list of our upcoming events:
  • 4/26/14- Run the D.O.G. 5k
  • 5/3/14- Pedal the Parkway (bicycling event- non-competitive; will also accommodate walkers and joggers)
  • 5/4/14- East Coast Triathlon (Richmond-- looking for assisted athletes to participate with pre-selected Junior Elite triathletes)
  • 6/1/14- Run for the Dream Half-Marathon (in coordination with Ainsley's Angels of Northern Virginia)
  • 9/14- Williamsburg Landing 5k for the Arc
  • 11/27/14- Blue Talon Bistro Turkey Trot 5k
  • 12/13/14- Sleighbell 5k
Please head over to "United Athletics Williamsburg" for any questions or more information! Just think what we could accomplish, if runners were willing to donate their time and talent to at least 1 race per year! Just think of all the smiles and community feeling that will happen because of your support!

Thank you!

Melissa Natter
