About Ali  Alison Kaplan passed away in 1999, at age 12, from aplastic anemia, a very rare bone marrow disease. Ali
was a straight "A" student, played recreation league soccer and basketball, and was active in school chorus and Dance Williamsburg. In recognition of Ali's selflessness, compassion, and courage, both James Blair Middle School and the Junior Women's Club of Williamsburg established annual student awards in her memory.

Request to "Save the Country Road"

Could you help us by sending this petition to all of participants who ran the Colonial Half Marathon yesterday on Old Country Road as Kingsmill proprety is going to expand in that area in that beautiful road that we have been all enjoying it would be closed. We need to do everything to stop that project which is going to be ratified by the city of James town in early March.

Thank you very much for your help and thank you for all your efforts to allow us to enjoy every year that beautiful special event.
